Meet Our Doctors
Harriet Hudson MD FAAP
Dr. Hudson was raised in Rockland County and is a Rockland Country Day School graduate. She received her BA in English Literature from Chatham College in Pittsburgh, PA. After college she worked for seven years in medical publishing at Academic Press, the National Academy of Sciences and the Institute Of Medicine in Washington, DC.
She then decided to attend medical school and graduated cum laude,
from the Universidad Del Caribe, Puerto Rico in 1980. Her internship was at Framingham Union Hospital, Framingham, MA, and her pediatric residency was at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
She joined Clarkstown Pediatrics in 1984. She is board certified in pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Speaking of boards, over the past 25 years she has served on
many: Rockland Country Day School, Blue Rock School, Simpson Memorial Church, the medical board of Nyack Hospital, the Mental Health Association of Rockland , and more. She was the recipient of the prestigious Bernstein Award for work in mental health in 2006.
Dr. Hudson is married, has 2 daughters and two grandsons.
In the past 4 years she has volunteered for and participated in over 8 marathon events to promote and raise monies and awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Besides walking endurance events and coaching others to do the same, she spends time reading and traveling. Dr. Hudson is fluent in Spanish.
